Assembly 2010--
A brief outline about our 2010 Synod Assembly...
Our upcoming assembly will be quite the spectacle with a Slovak-Zion twist! To celebrate 90 years of proclaiming Christ's Love, our excursion abroad to St. John, New Brunswick with the Carnival Glory Dreamliner, won't be all-business!

This assembly, given it's unique setting will be more complex in registration, and preparations.
Slovak Zion Synod, as we have already shown at our 2009 assembly, has made it possible to spend our next assembly on a cruise, while saving money in registration costs. Between transportation, lodging, materials, and meals, our traditional Synod Assembly is significantly more expensive, compared to this year's alternative, which will include all of the above, for a bargain price, at an even lower Slovak Zion special rate!
Instead of paying for lodging and registration separately, they will be paid in one sum, or in three separate installments between now, and March 2010. All registrations and deposits must be received by Saturday, April 10th 2010! This deadline has been set to meet the deadlines of Carnival Cruises.
If you wish to attend this event as a guest/visitor, you may register now, and pay all dues, or pay in deposits as you wish. (The Slovak Zion Synod is unable to cover the costs for Synod Council Representatives, or Retired Clergy on our roster!) If you are attending this event as a Lay Voting Member, or Called Clergy, you may use your Registration ID, register now, and begin your payment, OR you may begin by paying deposits if no delegates have been chosen yet.
Following Registration and completed Payments, we will keep in contact with you regarding any updates or changes in travel information.
In order to sail with us, (as per Carnival Cruise/government regulations) you must have with you (in addition to your cruise documents) a valid U.S. Passport, OR original/certified copy of your birth certificate, in addition to a government-issued photo ID.
(more info. on travel documentation requirements available here.)
Additional FAQs are available on the Carnival Website. (We will be sailing on the Carnival Glory!)
